1996년 결성된 인디문화 1세대 노브레인은 홍대의 작은 클럽에서 시작하여 4,000회 이상의 라이브 공연을 자랑하는 자타공인 최고 록밴드로 인디 음악과 대중음악의 경계선을 없애고 록 음악의 위상을 대중들에게 널리 알린 장본인으로서 후배 록밴드들이 가야 할 길을 인도하고 있습니다.
도전과 실패를 두려워하지 않고 록 음악의 불모지인 대한민국 대중음악 시장에서 20여 년 동안 꿋꿋이 록 음악을 해왔으며, 거기서 안주하지 않고 새로운 길을 개척하여 그들만의 전설을 만들고 있습니다.
2019년까지 8개의 정규 앨범을 발표했으며 각종 드라마, 영화 OST의 참여 및 영화 [라디오스타]에 출연하기도 하며 지난 20여 년간 록이라는 장르에 있어 넓은 스펙트럼을 보여주었습니다. 2022년 미국에서 제작했던 음반 [Big Mistake]는 인디 태동기의 날카로운 사운드와 꾸준히 활동을 이어온 베테랑의 원숙미가 섞인 진정한 펑크 음반이라는 호평을 받고 있습니다.
이들의 도전은 계속될 것이며, 진화된 음악으로 대한민국 록밴드의 자존심을 지켜갈 것입니다.

Formed in 1996 as a first-generation indie band, NOBRAIN started in small clubs in the Hongdae area and has since become the undisputed top rock band, boasting over 4,000 live performances. They have played a crucial role in breaking down the boundaries between indie and mainstream music, raising the profile of rock music among the public, and guiding the way for future rock bands.
Fearless of challenges and failures, NOBRAIN has steadfastly played rock music in the barren land of the South Korean pop music market for over 20 years. They have never settled, continually forging new paths and creating their own legendary status.
Having released eight full-length albums by 2019, they have showcased a broad spectrum in the rock genre, participating in various drama and movie soundtracks, and even starring in the film “Radio Star.” Their 2022 album, [Big Mistake], produced in the United States, has been praised as a true punk rock album blending the sharp sound of indie’s early days with the seasoned expertise of longtime activity.
