권진아는 2016년 첫 번째 정규 앨범 [웃긴 밤]으로 공식 데뷔한 여성 싱어송라이터로 가장 큰 강점인 발라드를 타이틀곡으로 앞세우고 앨범 전체 트랙의 절반을 자작곡으로 채워 넣으며 싱어송라이터로서의 행보에도 첫 발걸음을 내디뎠습니다.
이후 2019년 두 번째 정규 앨범 [나의 모양]을 발표하며 한층 더 성숙해진 가창력, 깊어진 감성을 내보이고 2021년 EP [우리의 방식]을 통해 전 트랙을 자작곡으로 채운 것은 물론 처음으로 메인 프로듀서 역할을 맡아 완성형 싱어송라이터로서의 모습을 선보였으며, 기존에 선보인 쓸쓸한 감성의 곡과는 다르게 청량하고 기분 좋은 에너지를 담은 ‘PINK!’, ‘KNOCK’ 등을 발표하며 새로운 매력을 선사하기도 했습니다.
2023년 발매한 EP [The Flag] 역시 전곡 작사, 작곡, 프로듀싱에 참여하며 한층 진화된 음악적 역량을 선보인 권진아는 장르를 불문하고 매번 최대치를 끌어올리는 호소력 짙은 보컬로 정평이 난 것을 물론, 데뷔 앨범부터 꾸준히 감각적인 송라이팅 실력을 선보이며 현재까지도 싱어송라이터로서, 프로듀서로서도 자신의 지평을 넓혀가고 있습니다.

Kwon Jin Ah is a female singer-songwriter who made her official debut with her first full-length album, ‘One Strange Night’, in 2016. In 2019, she announced her second full-length album, ‘Shape of me’, showing more mature singing and deeper emotions, as well as strengthening her position as a singer-songwriter with her self-composed song ‘I got lucky’ as her double title. She is loved for her steady and active activities, showing her musical ability of several personas, completing the album with her own songs on the entire track as the main producer.
She also released a variety of genres and atmospheres of music, including retro-style sounds with refreshing and pleasant energy, modern easy listening pop, and R&B-style music which are different from the lonesome emotions that were previously introduced, giving new charms one after another.
Not only has she gained a reputation for her pure tone, deep emotion, and appealing vocals that raise the maximum every time regardless of genre, but she has continued to show sensuous songwriting skills since her debut album, and continues to expand her horizons as a singer-songwriter and producer.
