| 크로스오버와 록을 넘나드는 경이로운 로커, PITTA(강형호) |
강형호는 록밴드 ‘PITTA’와 크로스오버 그룹 ‘포레스텔라’의 멤버입니다. 화학회사 연구원이었던 강형호는 JTBC <팬텀싱어2>에서 ‘The phantom of the opera’의 크리스틴(소프라노)과 팬텀(바리톤)을 모두 소화하며 놀라운 음역대로 큰 화제를 모았습니다. 이후 ‘포레스텔라’로 우승을 차지해 과감히 음악의 길을 선택하여 제2의 인생을 시작했습니다. 대학시절부터 밴드활동을 하며 록에 대한 열정과 애정을 보여온 강형호는 여러 음악방송을 통해 크로스오버와 록을 넘나드는 본인만의 독보적인 무대를 선보였고, 2021년부터 본격적인 솔로 활동을 시작했습니다. 현재까지도 다양한 행보를 보여주는 강형호는 올해 <New Normal Life>를 포함해 3장의 음반을 발매하였습니다.
2024 부산국제록페스티벌에서는 PITTA(강형호)라는 이름으로 무대에 오릅니다. 특별한 무대에 걸맞은 스페셜 게스트로 피아니스트 겸 작곡가 오은철이 함께 무대에 오를 예정입니다.
| PITTA(Kang Hyungho), The Astonishing Rocker Who Moves Between Crossover and Rock |
Kang Hyungho, who made a big sensation with his amazing vocal range as both Christine (soprano) and the Phantom (baritone) in JTBC’s <Phantom Singer 2>, is a member of the rock band ‘PITTA’ and the crossover group ‘Forestella’. He has appeared on music programes such as KBS’s “Immortal Songs,” MBC’s “King of Mask Singer,” and MBN’s “Lotto Singer” to showcase his unique stage of crossing over between crossover and rock, and has released three albums, including “ID: PITTA”, “BE FREE” and this year’s <New Normal Life>. He is continuing his noteworthy activities in 2024 with a special collaboration video for his self-written song “Wave on the sea” and the film “Noryang: Sea of Death,” participation in the tvN drama OST “The Auditors” and his first five-city national tour concert.
At the 2024 Busan International Rock Festival, he will perform under the name PITTA (Kang Hyungho). Joining him on this special stage as a special guest will be pianist and composer Eun-Chul Oh.
