롤링걸스(Rolling Girlz)와 로즈쿼츠(Rose Quartz)라는 이름으로 각자 활동을 준비하던 두 밴드가 만나 2019년 8월 여성 5인조 밴드 롤링쿼츠(Rolling Quartz)로 결성되었습니다. 2020년 12월에 데뷔 싱글 ‘블레이즈 Blaze’ 발매 후 불과 1년 만에 유튜브 구독자 15만명을 돌파하는 등 한국을 대표하는 여성 락밴드로 급성장 했습니다. 이후 2022년 2월에 첫 미니음반 ‘파이팅(Fighting)’ 발표 후 아이튠즈 월드 와이드 앨범 차트 23위, 미국 록 앨범 차트 5위, 유럽 차트 30위에 랭크되었으며 말레이시아 K팝 앨범 차트 1위에 오르는 등 대한민국 밴드사에 길이 남을 대기록을 남기며 활동을 이어가고 있습니다. 최근 전미투어 그리고 유럽투어 등의 왕성한 활동을 거치며 K-rock이라는 정체성의 영역을 전방위적으로 확대하고 있으며 현재 다양성, 다변화가 요구 되어지는 케이팝씬에 신동력으로 떠오르고 있습니다.

Rolling Quartz was formed in August 2019 when two bands, Rolling Girlz and Rose Quartz, who were each preparing for their own activities, came together to create a five-member female band. After releasing their debut single “Blaze” in December 2020, Rolling Quartz quickly rose to prominence, surpassing 150,000 YouTube subscribers in just one year, establishing themselves as one of Korea’s leading female rock bands. Following this, their first mini-album, “Fighting,” released in February 2022, achieved remarkable success, ranking 23rd on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart, 5th on the U.S. Rock Album Chart, 30th on the European Chart, and 1st on the Malaysian K-Pop Album Chart. These achievements have left an indelible mark on the history of Korean bands. Recently, Rolling Quartz has been actively expanding the realm of K-rock through a series of North American and European tours, solidifying their identity. They are now emerging as a new force in the K-pop scene, where diversity and variety are increasingly demanded.
