이상은은 1988년 MBC 강변가요제에서 ‘담다디’로 대상을 받으며 데뷔해 ‘언젠가는’, ‘공무도하가’, ‘비밀의 화원’, ‘삶은 여행’ 등 지난 35년간 총 16장의 정규 음반을 발매했습니다. 뉴욕 유학 중 발표한 3집 ‘더딘 하루'(1991년)를 통해 싱어송라이터로 변신한 그녀는 이후 평단과 대중의 고른 지지를 받는 노래들로 한국을 대표하는 여성 싱어송라이터 중 한 명으로 자리매김했습니다. 이상은은 음악 활동 외에도 책, 그림, 사진, 방송 등 다방면에서 예술 활동을 펼처온 국내 최정상 아티스트입니다.

LEE SANG EUN debuted in 1988 at the MBC Riverside Song Festival, won the Grand Prize for her song ‘Damdadi’. Over the past 35 years, she has released a total of 16 regular albums, including ‘Someday’, ‘Gongmudohaga’, ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘Life is a Journey’. After her 3rd album “Slow day(1991)” released while studying abroad in New York, she received the support of both critics and the public and established herself as one of Korea’s leading female singer-songwriters. LEE SANG EUN is also Korea’s top artist in various fields such as writing, painting, photography, and broadcasting, in addition to her music career.
