starsailor는 James Walsh(기타, 보컬), James Stelfox(베이스), Barry Westhead(키보드), Ben Byrne(드럼)로 구성된 영국의 4인조 밴드입니다. 2001년 ‘Love Is Here’, 2003년 ‘Silence Is Easy’, 2005년 ‘On The Outside’, 2009년 ‘All The Plans’, 2017년 ‘All This Life’까지 총 5개의 앨범을 발매했으며, 그중 ‘Love Is Here’은 특히 밴드에게 돌파구가 되는 앨범이었습니다. 출시 이후 100만 장 이상이 판매되었으며, 영국 차트 2위에 오르기도 하는 등 starsailor는 그들의 음악이 단순한 부분의 합을 넘어서는 것을 음악을 통해 증명했습니다. starsailor의 음악은 “정교하게 제작된 폭풍”이라 비유 되곤 합니다. 그 폭풍은 2024년 지금까지도 현재 진행형입니다.

starsailor is a British four-member band composed of James Walsh (guitar, vocals), James Stelfox (bass), Barry Westhead (keyboards), and Ben Byrne (drums). They have released a total of five albums: Love Is Here in 2001, Silence Is Easy in 2003, On The Outside in 2005, All The Plans in 2009, and All This Life in 2017. Among these, Love Is Here was a breakthrough album for the band, selling over one million copies and reaching number two on the UK charts. starsailor demonstrated through their music that it is more than just the sum of its parts. Their sound is often described as a “an intricately produced tempest of a record” a tempest continues to this day, even in 2024.
